Before pursuing his passion for real estate, Rob Finlay operated a successful practice as a Lawyer & Mediator for over 10 years. During this time, Rob negotiated and mediated hundreds of complex legal disputes involving a variety of family law, civil litigation, and employment law issues. Earlier in his legal career, he gained experience in property law, contract law, tax law, personal injury, and administrative law. With his legal background, Rob is uniquely qualified to guide his clients through detailed real estate transactions.

Raised in the Lower Mainland, Rob’s drive for success started at a young age as a competitive athlete when he won two provincial AAA hockey championships and repeat provincial AAA high school basketball championships with Terry Fox Secondary School. Rob has enjoyed living in several diverse communities throughout the Lower Mainland which has afforded him local expertise.

Rob earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Simon Fraser University and Juris Doctor Law Degree from Seattle University School of Law. He also earned Mediation and Negotiation Certificates from the Justice Institute of British Columbia. Rob is a Licensed Realtor in British Columbia, Licensed Attorney in Washington State, and Qualified Mediator in British Columbia.
